What is Mindful Counseling about?
My goal with Mindful Counseling is to embody the kind of mindful, compassionate attention that I wish to cultivate in my client’s relationship with themselves. I do this through my attuned presence as well as through structured mindfulness practices. Mindfulness is what you are not doing when you are caught in the grip of an anxious thought or wave of stress. However, it is no more than a second away as a pathway towards equanimity. This mindful approach is so impactful that I decided to use it to name my practice.
